COVID SECURE

The Trustees at Moorland Road Community Library continue to do our best to ensure we make good decisions with respect to Covid.

We are balancing the desire to continue to offer a book lending library service to our community in Oldfield Park and south west Bath with opening in as covid safe a way as we can, for both the public and our volunteers.

This now means closing our library again from 5th Jan 2021 until what looks like at least mid February.

When we are able to reopen we plan to continue doing our library business in an open doorway from behind screens. The hand sanitiser is available and we want to serve one customer or household at a time to allow you to do good social distancing. We aim to serve customers as quickly as possible.

Our community has proved to be resilient and have adopted the changes we have made so far so well.

A small queue at the library is sometimes inevitable and we really appreciate everyone's patience.

Thank you for continuing to use your library in our new Covid resistant way. We continue to support the government's HANDS FACE SPACE message about washing hands, wearing a mask if you can and staying 2m away from others.

If you have any problems with your books - simply drop us an email moorlandroadcommunitylibrary@gmail.com , drop by in person or phone us during opening hours 01225 287323.

We hope to see you soon at the library.

Best wishes and happy reading
