COVID SECURE

What's different?

To be Covid Secure we need you to do the following:

  • We ask you not to come to the library if you are self isolating or have symptoms of Covid 19.

  • We believe 2m social distancing should be maintained. We are very happy to see mask wearers.

  • We limit access to either up to 2 adults or 1 family. We hope this way your visit with children will be more relaxed.

  • You might have to wait for access - so we hope everyone will make new book choices quite quickly.

  • Clean your hands with hand sanitiser when you arrive. You need clean hands to browse the books on our shelves.

  • Drop your book returns in a box for 72 hour quarantine. They will still be on your card until we put them through the computer.

  • Help us at the checkout to find the barcodes on your new book choices.

New book loans will be for 4 weeks instead of previously 3 weeks.

Book reservations through LibrariesWest click and collect are not currently available - so right now it's all about what's on our shelves. The van that moves books around between libraries is not currently operating.

If you have any problems with your books - simply drop us an email moorlandroadcommunitylibrary@gmail.com , drop by in person or phone us during opening hours 01225 287323.

You are receiving this email because you have a Yellow Sticker book on loan at the moment. These are books that we invested in for our local community only as our own book stock. Please share our news with friends who use the library. LibrariesWest is only doing general information emails and not our opening hours locally. We loaned 333 books to local people under this project during the lockdown.

Our volunteers are super excited to be back - we're all a bit rusty so we hope you will be supportive as we find our feet again.

We hope to see you soon at the library.
