Moorland Road Community Library is run for the local community by local people.

The library is open as usual today (Tuesday) but will be closing at 1pm on Thursday 25th June due to the red heat alert.

​

Can you do a better job of promoting our library?  We need a volunteer to manage our website and social media.  For more details, please see the job description.  The closing date is 31 July 2026.

• The library is currently open for 20 hours a week for 51 weeks a year

• We have around 5000 books on our shelves, and you can also order books from anywhere in the LibrariesWest region, covering 7 counties​​
