Moorland Road Community Library is run for the local community by local people.

Just a quick note to say that we are not open on Good Friday.  NOrmal service resumes thereafter.

 

In February we are launching a new storytime session for pre-school children.  Please see our events page for more details and to sign-up.

 

Our fingers are still crossed for a positive response from BANES Community Infrastructure Levy Fund! (They are starting to ache now).

• The library is a Registered Charity

• Library services are provided by a group of enthusiastic local volunteers

• The library is currently open for 20 hours a week for 51 weeks a year

• We have around 5000 books on our shelves, and you can also order books from anywhere in the LibrariesWest region, covering 7 counties​​
